Get Involved

Garden of the Pines Pet Cemetery & Cremations is a very special place — one built on love, remembrance, and community. As a volunteer-led organization, we rely on the kindness and support of others to help us care for these sacred grounds and honor the pets entrusted to us.

Volunteer Opportunities
We welcome individuals and groups interested in meaningful service, including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other youth or community organizations. Volunteer projects may include cemetery clean-up, uncovering memorial markers, and general beautification of the grounds — a rewarding way to give back while supporting a place of lasting remembrance.

Volunteer Board Members
We are also seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to serve on our volunteer board. We especially welcome those who have a personal connection to Garden of the Pines, such as having had a pet buried or cremated here, as this shared experience helps guide our mission with care and understanding.

Experience in accounting, nonprofit work, funeral services, or community outreach is valuable, but not required. Most important is a genuine desire to help preserve this special place and support families in meaningful moments.

Being part of Garden of the Pines is more than volunteering — it is an opportunity to help honor the lives of beloved companions and ensure this peaceful place continues to serve families for generations to come.

If you are interested in getting involved, we would love to hear from you. Please email our volunteer coordinator at gardenofthepinesva@gmail.com to learn more.
